The Center for Biological, Bioinspired and Bio-Materials is committed to providing educational opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. This is evident in the strong involvement of undergraduate researchers in our labs.
The CB3M will continue its work with ENLACE, a program led and organized by Professor Olivia Graeve, remotely over the summer of 2021. Professor Meyers' group is looking forward to inviting five Mexican undergraduate students to help work on a project exploring the properties and structure of hooves. More updates to come!
Rachel Luu wins people's choice award at LSMRCE
Congratulations to Rachel for winning the people's choice award at the 2020 Louis Stokes Midwest Regional Center of Excellence(LSMRCE) Annual Conference with her poster entitled Bioinspired Horse Hoof Models for Impact Resistant Materials!
